Since 1983, Didier Courbe is active in the entertainment world and specifically in the stage lighting. Exclusive importer and distributor of prestigious brands in Belgium and Canada for over 20 years, he has designed and installed more than a hundred theaters and opera houses worldwide. In 2018 Tom created iLuce, a Corsican branch of iLight with a magnificent 200m2 showroom in Ile-Rousse. Jim joined his brother at this time to help with business development.
The Covid will get the better of iLuce which will close its doors in June 2020.
Since 2019, Jim joined iLight in Luxembourg for market development in France and Benelux. During this time, Tom worked for a Lighting Company in Belgium to complete his experience. In 2022, iLight is passed on to Tom & Jim to develop the company with new energy and creativity.
iLight is recognized today for its experience and scenographic approach in all architectural projects. Although specialized in hotels and restaurants, iLight also works on many private and public projects.
