Lighteam is a workshop dedicated to architectural lighting design, winner of multiple awards both nationally and internationally. His practice is articulated through different academic, humanistic, artistic, technical and scientific points of view on light and illumination.
Lighteam was founded in 1986 as a workshop aimed at the research and
development of architectural lighting through transdisciplinary methods.
Made up of a talented multidisciplinary team, Lighteam is committed to
a continuous effort to find new meanings and applications of light that
can communicate on a physical, spiritual, emotional and rational level.
Following this transdisciplinary approach, we take values of effective/
affective sustainability to develop our lighting projects: effective action
meets the application of the highest technology following norms, codes,
LEED standards, operability and maintenance expressed in quantitative
calculations and measurements.
Affective action, in turn, considers non-quantifiable aspects that respond
more to ergonomic, emotional, comfort and permanence aspects.
